Obituary

Mrs. Teresa Michelle Colbert Morgan of 1701 Macon Road, Perry, Georgia died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18. 2019 at 3:00 P. M. in the sanctuary of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

On October 30, 1973, Ms. Mary Ann Colbert was blessed with the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Born in Crisp County, Georgia, she was named Teresa Michelle.

Teresa was a product of the Crisp County Public School System.

As a child, Teresa united with the Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She also enjoyed fellowshipping with other churches in the community. Upon moving to Warner Robins, Georgia, Teresa united with the New Hope International Church.

Teresa loved family and always welcomed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking and searching the internet. It was also obvious that Teresa had a creative mind. She enjoyed interior decorating. Often while watching television shows about "house flipping" she would get ideas and create her own work.

On Sunday, May 12, 2019 she surrendered to the will of the Lord. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, who raised her, Mother Lillie Mae Colbert.

Left to reflect upon her life and her love, she leaves her loving and caring children, Mrs. Tolonda (Richard) Coleman Ntifo of Greenville, South Carolina, Ms. Tykesha Michelle Colbert of   Warner Robins, Georgia, Ms. Tytiuna Kodasha Daniels and Mr. Tyrone Daniels, IV both of Perry, Georgia, Mr. Kentavius Marquis Morgan, Jr. and Mr. Kendarius Marquay Morgan both of Greenville, South Carolina; her precious grandchildren, Kanija Elisa Williams, Chad Xavier Jackson, and Ethan Christian Dwamena Ntifo; her   beloved and caring brother, Mr. Randy (Tiffany) Colbert of Cordele, Georgia; her loving aunts and uncles, who were raised as her siblings, Mrs. Martha Ann Hamilton, Elder J. C. (Minister Annette) Clark, and Mr. Johnny Colbert, Jr. all of Cordele, Georgia; her great aunt and great uncle, Mrs. Mae Hattie Cook of Melbourne, Florida and Mr. Jimmie Lee Walker of Pocola, Oklahoma; her nephews, Mr. Jaylan Daniels of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Randy Colbert, Jr. of   Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Zitravian Shiloh and Little Randarian Colbert both of Cordele, Georgia; a host of cousins, including those who she regarded as her nieces and nephews, Deacon Emery Fulks of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Kalvin Westbrook of Atlanta, Georgia, Miss Vaisyah Hamilton, Mr. Brandhon Colbert and Ms. Sherita Colbert all of Cordele, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
