Mr. Zachary Lawson of 515 West Pine Street, Vienna, Georgia died Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.
Zachary Lawson was born August 20, 1988 in Dooly County, Georgia. He was born to Mr. Zachary Taylor and Ms. Lucille Lawson.
Zachary received his education from the Dooly County Public School System. In high school he participated in several activities, include JROTC and football. He was a 2006 graduate of Dooly County High School.
Zachary enjoyed playing video games. He especially enjoyed playing Farming Simulator. He also enjoyed watching and cheering for "his" Miami Dolphins.
Remembering Zachary will be easy. His loved of people, his caring personality, his kind and generous heart, and most of his ability to make people laugh will never be forgotten.
On Friday, September 1, 2023, Zachary left this world. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Coley.
He leaves cherished memories to his loving and caring family: his mother, Mrs. Lucille Lawson Dixon of Vienna, Georgia; his sister, Ms. Za'Keira Hardrick of Vienna, Georgia; his brothers, Mr. Sammy (Nikki) Lawson and Mr. Wilbert Lester, Jr. of Vienna, Georgia; his grandmother, Ms. Shirley J. Taylor of Vienna, Georgia; his aunt and uncles, Mr. Sammy J. Lawson and Ms. Johnnie M. Lawson of Vienna, Georgia and Ms. VaShirl Keaton of Covington, Georgia; his great aunts and great uncles, Mrs. Willie Mae Anderson of Unadilla, Georgia, Ms. Patricia Spivey of Vienna, Georgia, Deacon Edward (Dr. Angel) Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia and Mr. Robert (Audrey) Taylor of Deland, Florida; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include, Mr. Gerald (Maquasha) Lewis, Ms. Linda Cobb, Mr. Kelvin Brunson and Mr. Jeffery Brown of Vienna, Georgia and Mr. Kenneth Kellogg of Cordele, Georgia.
