Mr. Willie B. Robinson, Jr. of 308 Spruce Lane, Vienna, Georgia, died Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 12:00 Noon, in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your mask.
Willie B. Robinson, Jr., a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, was born on July 14, 1954, in Miami, Florida. He was the oldest son of Gussie Key Daniels and the late Willie B. Robinson, Sr. He was a proud graduate of Miami Jackson Senior High School in Miami, Florida.
Willie' faith was a cornerstone of his life, having joined Shady Grove Baptist Church as a child. He was known among family and friends as the family comedian, always ready with a joke or a funny story to lift spirits. His love for the Miami Dolphins was well-known, as he was a die-hard fan who never wavered in his love for the game and his team. Willie also had a passion for mechanics, fishing, and hunting, pursuits that brought him joy and relaxation.
Willie left this life on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sabrina B. Robinson.
Willie B. Robinson, Jr. touched the lives of many with his humor, kindness, and vibrant spirit. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
His memory lives on through his loving and caring daughter, Erica Butts (Lewis) of Anniston, Alabama; his cherished grandchildren: Monterious Bass of Anniston, Alabama; Lacretia Taylor of Houston, Texas; and Mia Smith (Charles) of Marietta, Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Chance and Corbyn; his loving and caring mother, Gussie Key Daniels of Vienna, Georgia, his loving sister, Loretta Clark (Wilbert) of Vienna, Georgia; his caring brothers, Kennedy Robinson (Shevetta) of Cordele, Georgia, and Andre Robinson (Yolanda) of Americus, Georgia; his uncles, Theodore Key of Warner Robins, Georgia and Thomas Key (Cheryl) of Zaphahill, Florida; his nieces and nephews: Lashandra Simmons, Brad Hall, Jr., Lelandria Bennett (Howie), Santresa Haugabrook, Tanika Haugabrook, Demetrius Haugabrook, Stephanie Bailey, Natasha Felder, Jasmin Taylor, Coby Roberson, Chante Lowe, and Andre Robinson, Jr.; his great nieces and great nephews; leaves behind many cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory and mourn his passing.
