Mr. Willie Otis Quarterman, Sr. of 1111 East 8th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

Mr. Willie Otis Quarterman, Sr. was born September 19, 1949 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.  He was born to parentage of Mr. Thomas Quarterman, Sr. and Mrs. Ruby Lee Rogers Quarterman.

"Willotis" as he was affectionately called by everyone who knew him, received his education in the public schools of Crisp County.  He accepted Christ and worshipped at the Beulahland Baptist Church.

There are so many things about him left for us to cherish, including his love for family and "his" San Francisco 49ers.  Win, lose, or draw he was going to support them.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, his earthly journey came to a peaceful end.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Willene Walker Quarterman; his parents; his sisters, Miss Patricia   Quarterman and Mrs. Earlene Tuff; and his brothers, Mr. Sylvester Quarterman, Mr. Robert Jones, Mr. Selven Quarterman, Mr. Willie Frank Quarterman, Mr. Albert Lee Quarterman, and Mr. Thomas Quarterman, Jr.

Special memories of his life will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted children, Mrs. Naedean (Marvin) Glover of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Keyotta (Otis) Ray and Mr. Otis Rowe of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Kastonia Quarterman of Miami, Florida, Mr. Willie Otis Quarterman, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Anthony Dixon of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr. Vincent Dixon and Mr. Khory Dixon of Cordele, Georgia; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; his loving sisters, Ms. Louise Quarterman of Cordele, Georgia and Mrs. Tommie (Judge) Glenn of Cordele, Georgia; his beloved brothers, Mr. Jessie Quarterman of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Walter Quarterman of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Mr. Arthur (Sallie) Quarterman of  Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Curtis (Melissa) Quarterman of Albany, Georgia, Mr. Willie Lee Quarterman of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. A. J. (Margret) Quarterman and Mr. Edward (Diane) Patterson of Macon, Georgia, and Mr. Tim (Louise) Hicks of Vienna, Georgia; a close companion, Ms. Lynda Rowe of Cordele, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, to include, Mrs. Brenda (Ricky) Melson of Albany, Georgia and Ms. Syretta Quarterman of Stockbridge, Georgia; a host of other  relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include, Early Bird of Cordele, Georgia.
