Mr. Willie C . Perry of 405 West Pine Street, Vienna, Georgia died Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery in Pinehurst, Georgia. Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
Brother Willie C. Perry was born December 23, 1941 to the late Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Pearlie M. Perry of Dooly County.
Brother Willie C. Perry was educated in the Dooly County School System. He joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, where he served faithfully as an usher for many years. Willie C. Perry was a devoted and loving person who was always willing to help anyone in need.
Brother Perry was a kind, generous, caring and humble person who loved life, his family and the Lord. He operated a small lawn service business which gave him an opportunity to touch many lives. Willie C. was never a talkative person but when he did speak, he always spoke kind words of encouragement to make you feel better or just bring a little sunshine into your life. He cared for others and his heart exemplified that love in his daily living and interactions with others.
Brother Willie C. Perry departed this old life for his life with Jesus on May 12, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Hospital.
His father and mother, Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Pearlie M. Perry and three brothers, Mr. Walter Perry, Mr. Freddie Perry, and Mr. Leo V. Perry, two stepsons, Mr. David Colbert and Mr. Jimmy Colbert, preceded him in death.
Brother Willie C. Perry leaves to cherish his memory, five loving children, Mr. Tyronne (Danette) Perry of Ashburn, Georgia, Mrs. Tamika (Richard) Jenkins of Warner Robins, Georgia, Ms. Doris Colbert, Ms. Laura Colbert Evans of Vienna, Georgia, and Mr. Charlie Colbert of Cordele, Georgia; two brothers, Mr. John Lee (Ann) Perry and Mr. Jimmy Lee Perry of Vienna, Georgia; four sisters, Ms. Ethel Perry, Ms. Margie Perry of Vienna, Georgia, Mrs. Chris Perry Gaither of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs. Barbara (Myral) Kendrick of Tampa, Florida; first cousins, Mr. John (Vera) Perry of Vienna, Georgia and Ms. Bettye Perry Foster of Washington, DC; 16 grandchildren; one great grand, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
