Mr. Willie Lee Bryant, Jr. better known as "Billy Boy" of 324 West Pine Street, Vienna, Georgia died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Willie Lee Bryant Sr. and Annie Eva Sevier Bryant were abounding with great joy when they welcomed a handsome baby boy to their family. They named this bundle of joy Willie Lee Bryant Jr. - nicknaming him, 'Billy Boy'.

Born in Dooly County on February 24, 1955, Bill received his education from the Dooly County Training Center, in Pinehurst Georgia. While enrolled there, he  perfected the skill of sanding old furniture.  He maintained and continued this training until he joined Easter Seals of Vienna and Albany Georgia. He was a faithful participant of  Easter Seals until 2016.

Realizing the value of the Lord in his life, Bill accepted the Lord as his personal savior and became a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Vienna, Georgia. He committed his life by serving as an Usher until his health started to decline.  He was also a distinguished member of Bethel's 50 year Plus  Honorees.

"Billy Boy", "Bill",  "Sad-day Night", and " Bilbo" are the names he was affectionately called by his many friends and family.  Bill enjoyed watching television (especially, the Atlanta Braves and wrestling), attending the Dooly County Bobcats' football and basketball games where he served as the Bobcats' manager. He was a great dancer and enjoyed listening to different types of music.     Additionally, he was an assistant manager at James Byron Café, and later became a part of the  security team at Adams' Lounge.

Bill's earthly life's journey ended on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Crisp Regional Hospital.   Forever remembering his journey are his loving and devoted siblings: his sisters, Cornelia Barnes (Andrew) of Athens, Georgia, Hilda Ray of Vienna, Georgia, and Juliette Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; his brothers, Joe A. Bryant (Ada) of Kingsland, Georgia, Norman Bryant (Lisa) of Columbus, Georgia, and Arney Bryant (Lisa C.) of Vienna, Georgia; 18 Nieces: Cenitha, Carmanelia, Sharice, Coreal, Heather, Chaka, Armyia, Arne, Arlisa, Cecilia, Kristi, Dutchess, Kela, Keva, Miracle, Faith, Clishea and Porsha; 8 Nephews:  Christopher, Chavis Sr.,   Ceron, Norman, Nemius, Joey, Ardell and Cecil, III; 11 Great Nieces:  Carlie, Cansas, Chrys, Chloie, Brittani, Breanna, Chelsey, Lalisa, Lisa, Chloe and Deja; 21 Great Nephews:  Cigus, Chavis Jr., Cortney, Chase, Benjamin, Langston, Samarj, Landris, Corre, Christian, Landon, Brandon, Jr., Ja'Kori, Jayden, Jacayden, JaMari,  Nehemiah, Jr,  Mackston, Nash, Jayce and Carter J.; 7 Great-Great Nieces: Madilyn Olivia, Shavion, Chole, Cylee, Cayden, Landria  and Celeste; 5 Great-Great Nephews:  Jaden, L.J, Noelle, Chief and Ceth.  A host of other relatives and a multitude of friends  including: Dave (Audrey) Sevier, Tosh (Tiffany) Sevier, Eddie Almond, Glenn Kingdom, Ed King, Paula Coleman, Rosa Thomas, Anthony Brown, Michael Hardy, Eric "Bull Dog" Lundy, Larry   Lavender, and Walter Brown.
