Ms. Vivian Felder of 767 Teresa Street, Ashburn, Georgia, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the sanctuary of New Providence Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia.

Our dearly loved Vivian Felder was born on August 24, 1946, in Turner County, Georgia, to Oscar Lee Felder and Mattie Lee Felder. Affectionately known to many as "Ms. Honey," she grew up  deeply rooted in the traditions and values of her family and surroundings.

Vivian received her education through the public school system of Turner County. She attended Eureka Elementary and High School, where she developed a love for learning and formed friendships that would last a lifetime. Her educational journey laid the foundation for her compassionate nature and her dedication to her community.

Throughout her life, Vivian attended church in the Turner  County community.. Her faith was an integral part of her identity, guiding her actions and relationships. She was known for her warm  spirit and generous heart, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.  She was employed by Howard Johnson's Lodge and she also worked at the rest area in Turner County.

Vivian cherished her family above all else. She found joy in cooking and fishing, often bringing her loved ones together over delicious meals and shared experiences. A natural nurturer, she adored children and enjoyed playing games, especially the excitement of playing "the machines."

Vivian's life was filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.  She transitioned on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mattie Lee Felder, and her siblings, Ella Armstrong, Rufus Felder, Frank Greene, and Lula Newberry. Her grandparents, Rufus and Annie Bell Felder, also preceded her in passing.

Vivian is survived by her loving partner, Richard Lee Harris, Sr. of Ashburn, Georgia; her loving children, Delawrence A.  Drummer of Ashburn, Georgia, LeAnthony Drummer of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and LeAndrew (Wanda) Harris of Leesburg, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, a her loving sisters, Daisy Byrd and Vivian Bateman of Ashburn, Georgia, Mary McCullor of Miami, Florida, Gloria (Roderick) Sims of Ashburn, Georgia, and Sylvia Gipson of Miami, Florida; her caring brothers, James (Laurie) Richardson of    Watertown, New York, Buster (Janie) Felton of Ashburn, Georgia, and Clearence (Denise) Wallace of Jacksonville, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends, including a special friend, Nancy    Burgess of Ashburn, Georgia.
