It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Valencia De'Audra Clemons-Bush, Esq., who entered eternal rest on October 3, 2024. Born on December 18, 1987, in a moment that brought light and joy to her parents, Mrs. Pamela R. Clemons-Bush and Mr. Anthony J. Bush, Valencia grew into a remarkable woman of exceptional strength, kindness, and grace.

Valencia was a woman of quiet yet fierce determination, who combined her brilliant intellect with an unyielding sense of justice. She served as a prosecutor for Richmond County, GA District Attorney's Office, where she combined her logic and legal acumen with her deep commitment to justice. In every case she handled, her genuine compassion for victims and her unwavering dedication to fairness shone through. She approached her work not just as a job, but as a calling, giving every effort to protect and uplift her community. Although tough in the courtroom, she balanced this with sincerity, kindness, and respect.

Valencia's life was a testament to strength, perseverance, and inspiration. Her character was an inspiration to everyone she encountered—genuine and sincere, Valencia lived with kindness that touched the lives of many. She was equally tough when life demanded it, always standing firm in her beliefs and championing the causes of those who could not speak for themselves. She was a role model to those who knew her, showing through her own life that perseverance and grace could coexist in even the most challenging times.

Valencia's love for her family was boundless, and she will forever be remembered by her loving parents, devoted sister, Ms. Kyndrell Y. Clemons, and her loving grandmother, Ms. Minnie D. Williamson. She was a cherished niece, cousin, and friend, whose presence will be sorely missed but whose spirit will continue to inspire. She is survived by her aunt, Kimberly F. Williamson, special cousins Jamee Clemons and Dr. Terence J. Clemons, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, including her devoted uncle, Sterling B. Clemons, Esq., who admired her resilience, integrity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Valencia was a beacon of strength for her family, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Valencia's legacy is one of compassion, inspiration, strength and love. In her honor, we carry forward the lessons she taught us: to live with purpose, to love deeply, and to never give up on the pursuit of justice, fairness, and compassion.  She reminded us all that no matter how difficult life's battles, grace, kindness, and strength can coexist.  Her family and friends are eternally grateful for the time they had with her.  Her light will forever guide us, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The funeral service will be Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Friendship Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery in Americus, Georgia.
