Mr. Trodderick Demond Lawson of 615 Cardinal Avenue, Cordele, Georgia passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM at J. W. Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Cordele, Georgia.

A beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, Trodderick Demond Lawson, was born in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia on April 3, 1972, to the parentage of Beatrice H. Lawson and the late Thomas Lawson Jr.  Trodderick is a proud graduate of the Crisp County High School Class of 1990. After graduation, his career path led him to Atlanta, in which he has lived for over 35 years.

Trodderick was very adventurous and led an active life. He didn't advocate for being sedentary. His thoughts were "You must enjoy life and find the treasures that are within". He was active on various community Flag Football and Kickball teams. You were guaranteed to find him in the park on a Saturday morning doing one of those activities or just taking a stroll. He enjoyed White Water Rafting and traveling. His love for fashion was astounding. People often teased him that he was the epitome of GQ magazine. His humble and modest spirit kept him grounded and he would simply say "That's not my forte". Trodderick was a man of order and his organizational skills were impeccable which lead to a successful career as a Project Manager and owner of LHS, LLC

"Train up a child in the way they should go" is a spoken proverbial term of wisdom. Trodderick's beliefs were grounded since a young child. His mother's faith and perseverance as one of Jehovah's Witnesses was his foundation and remained that way until his untimely transition.

His life will always be cherished by colleagues, family and friends who loved him and knew him affectionately as "Trod". He enjoyed spending time with family, his generosity was immeasurable when it came to those he loved. He considered himself a "Grill Master" and thoroughly enjoyed preparing meals for his family and friends. It was no secret to those who knew him well that he loved the Dallas Cowboys. There could be no interruption while "The Boys" were playing.

On Monday, January 20, 2025, our lives stood still. His warm,  charismatic demeanor and smile will always be in our thoughts from day to day. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lawson, Jr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Special memories of his life will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted mother, Beatrice H. Lawson of Cordele, Georgia; his loving children, Jaysmine Lawson of Atlanta, Georgia, Nicholas Lawson of Warner Robins, Georgia, Nyla Lawson of Lilburn, Georgia, and Deiondrick Hall of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Macquetta Waters of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Taralika McAdoo of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Passion Williams of Tampa, Florida; his daughter-in-law, Angelica Lawson of Lilburn, Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Charlie Waters, Jr. of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Corey McAdoo of Apollo Beach Florida, and Tavarius Williams of Tampa, Florida; his aunts, Shelly Lawson, Gloria Jean Lawson, Cressie Lawson, and Jessie Lawson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dora Lawson of Cordele, Georgia; his uncle, Willie Lawson of Columbia, South Carolina, a longtime friend, Adrienne Relaford; a host of cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
