Mr. Toney Lorenzo Patrick of 3072 Washington Road, Atlanta, Georgia died Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Mr. Toney Lorenzo Patrick was born March 12, 1958 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.  He was born to the late Lewis Charles Owens and the late Maude "Tina" Patrick.

Toney was educated in the public school system of Crisp  County where he was a graduate of the Crisp County High School.  While in high school he was an active member of the Crisp County School Basketball Team.

As a child growing up in Cordele he was introduced to the Lord and united with the Gethsemane Baptist Church.

On Sunday, July 31, 2022, he peacefully transitioned from this life to life eternal.

Many special memories of his life will be cherished and remembered by his loving daughters, Camesha L. Morgan (Michael) of Cordele, Georgia and Nature S. Darns (Kedran) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Natrez "Tony" Patrick of Atlanta, Georgia, Ricky Smith, Jr. of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Jaylen Smith of Hickory, North Carolina, and Kailey Darns of Atlanta, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Ace Patrick and Crue Patrick both of Atlanta, Georgia; his caring sisters, Audrey A. Hollingsworth of Cordele, Georgia, Brenda Smith (Oscar Sr.) of Lilburn, Georgia, Loretta Patrick (Leonard) of Cordele, Georgia, Pamela Worley (Perry) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Rosalind Bridges-Mason of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Annie Armstrong of Vienna, Georgia, Tasha Taylor of Cordele, Georgia, and Tamiko Taylor Njoku (Jude) of Atlanta, Georgia; his beloved brothers, Luqman Abdur-Rahman (Priscilla) of Cordele, Georgia, Rahim Abdur-Rahman of Hartford Connecticut, Kurt Lofton of Tampa, Florida, Larry Green of College Park, Georgia, and Kelso Darby (Addie) of Atlanta, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Brenda Cooper (Perry) of Miami, Florida, Marilyn Hawkins (Marshall) of Jacksonville, Florida, Rosemary Owens (Keith) Houston, Texas, Henry Owens (Carla) of Miami, Florida, Marvin Patrick and Anthony Patrick both of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews; many cousins, to include his special cousins, Gwendolyn Dent of Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl Edwards of Jacksonville, Florida and Laura Patrick of Cordele, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to including, Frank Collier of  Cordele, Georgia, Cleve Kellogg and Michael Dent both of  Atlanta, Georgia, Malcolm Kellogg and Leroy Alexander both of Cordele, Georgia.
