Steward Eddie T. Hosley, Sr., was born September 6, 1944 to the late Carrie Bell Fulks White and Wilson Hosley. He received his formal education in the public school system of Macon County.
Professing his faith and accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior, he united with the membership of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. He served for several years until his health declined.
On Friday August 31, 2018, Eddie was promoted from labor to reward at the Magnolia Manor Hospice of Americus, Georgia.
Those who will be most profoundly deprived of the warmth of his pleasing personality and the strength of his character include: his wife, Mrs. Blanchie K. Hosley of Oglethorpe, Georgia; one son, Mr. Eddie T. Hosley, Jr. of Port Wentworth, Georgia; three daughters, Ms. Robyn Walters of Conyers, Georgia, Ms. Taryon Green of Fort Valley, Georgia, and Ms. Elisa Tori Harrell of Albany, Georgia; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include Ms. Mary Bryant of Americus, Georgia.
