Mr. Steven Treymane Leary of 106 Dove Street, Cordele, Georgia died Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Atrium Health in Macon, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Beulahland Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery, Hatley Community, Cordele, Georgia.

Steven Treymane Leary was gifted to this world on March 1, 1983.  He was loved and nurtured by his loving parents, Earl Leary, Jr. and Maletha Faye Ross Leary.

As a young child, he worshipped at the Beulahland Missionary Baptist Church.

Born in Crisp County, Georgia, the early seeds of education were planted as he  attended the public schools.  Treymane was a 2001 graduate of Crisp County High School.  While in high school, he was a member of the Cougar Marching Band for four years where he maintained 1st chair as a Saxophone  player.

Upon the completion of high school, Treymane attended Albany State University where he majored in Biology.

He enjoyed being with family and friends.  A born entertainer, he always kept everyone laughing.  When not spending time with family, he enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his sister and his nieces.

On Saturday, August 12, 2023, our gift from the Lord said goodbye to this world.  We will forever be grateful for his life and the joy he imparted.

Memories of his life will forever live in the hearts of his loving and caring family, his parents, Earl and Maletha Faye Leary of Cordele, Georgia; his sister, Sommer Nicole Leary of Cordele, Georgia; his grandmother, Willie Mae Leary of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Melinda Gail Wallace, Elizabeth Ross– Hamilton (Carter), Pamela Bryant (Craig), Antoine Ramsey, and Patricia Leary of Cordele, Georgia, Kelvin Ross of Ohio, Melanie Ramsey of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Eddie Leary (Julie) of Arabi, Georgia; his great aunts and great uncles, Charlie Ross (Ann) and William Carter of Cordele, Georgia; Maggie Leary of Cocoa, Florida, Mitten Redding of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Martha Westbrook of Arabi, Georgia, and Annie Lee Freeman of Leary, Georgia; his nieces, Harmony Jade West and Autumn Jaleah West of Cordele, Georgia; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include his special friends, Shamekia Tolbert and Chanel Whitehead of Cordele, Georgia.
