Ms. Stephanie La'ta Mobley of 2106 South 7th Street, Cordele, Georgia died Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Hardshell Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

Stephanie La'ta Mobley was born August 24, 1978.  The daughter of Walter Lee Mobley and Darlene Ford she was born in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.

Step received her education from the Crisp County Public school system.  As a child she enjoyed fellowshipping with the churches of the Cordele community.  After moving to Warner Robins, she united with Fellowship Baptist Church.

On Thursday, February 8, 2024 our beloved Stephanie was set free from the cares and pains of this earthly life.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John Henry & Ola Ford and Willie Mae Mobley.

Forever cherishing her life and her love is her loving and devoted family:  her sons, Demetrice "Ace" White and Jeremiah Long of Warner Robins, Georgia; her mother, Darlene Ford of Cordele, Georgia; her father, Walter Lee Mobley, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia; her grandfather, Walter Lee Mobley, Sr. of Cordele, Georgia; her sisters, Santana Mobley of Warner Robins, Georgia and Chekethia Hill of Bartow, Florida; her brothers, Cedric Mobley of Atlanta, Georgia, Walter Ford, DeKory Mobley, Waltavius Mobley, and Walter Johnson of Cordele, Georgia, and Tobias Mobley of Atlanta, Georgia; her aunts and uncles, Patricia Holt (Alvin) of Lakeland, Florida, Malissa McCloud (Larry) and Johnecia Yancy (Quincey) of Cordele, Georgia, John Henry Ford, Jr. of Connecticut, Bernard Ford of Orlando, Florida and Michael Ford of Warner Robins, Georgia; six great aunts; two great uncles; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, those who were very special to her:  Kela Hooks, Yawnita Harvey, Amanda Ford, Mena Jones, Sharon Jackson, Wendy McCall, Edna Barnes, Lashonda Orange, and Melissa Hill Harvey.
