Ms. Sharon Jean Raines of 505 West 23rd Avenue, Cordele, Georgia, died Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Westview Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your mask.

Sharon Jean Raines, affectionately known as "Sugar," passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born on July 18, 1970, in Crisp County, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Eddie Styles and Bobbie Jean Raines.

Sharon received her education through the public schools of Crisp County and proudly graduated from Crisp County High School in 1989. Her life was a testament to the values of family, friendship, and joy. Sharon had an undeniable passion for cooking, often bringing smiles to her loved ones through her delicious meals. She found immense happiness in caring for her cherished grandchildren, Greyson and Landon, who were the light of her life.

Known for her adventurous spirit, Sharon loved "joy   riding," shopping, and playing games. These simple pleasures brought her great joy and allowed her to create lasting memories with those she held dear.

As we remember Sharon Jean Raines, we celebrate a life full of love, laughter, and warmth. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her loving son, Deandreous D. Riley.

Her legacy continues through her loving and devoted children, Keaira Riley and Kentavious Riley, both of   Cordele, Georgia. her grandchildren, Greyson and Landon Riley;  her dear aunt who raised her as her own, Mary Ruth Raines Daniels (J. C.) of Cordele, Georgia; her sisters Quanay Jackson and Cassandra Collins of Cordele, Georgia; her brothers Cedric Warren and Kelvin Warren of Atlanta, Georgia; Katorian Raines (Tenisha) and Elijah D. Reese of Cordele, Georgia, and Robert Warren of Atlanta, Georgia; her aunt and uncle, Rosie Ann Raines of Trenton, New Jersey and Elijah Reese of Cordele, Georgia; her beloved nephews, Eli Jr., Jandon, and Katorian; a host of cousins, other relatives, and dear friends, including special friends Sabrena and Larry Smith of Cordele, Georgia, Jackie Harmon of Cleveland, Ohio, Pearly Mae Barner, and Carol Dawson of Cordele, Georgia, and her  Class of '89 classmates.
