Mrs. Sharlene Parham Joiner of East Dublin, Georgia passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Dublin, Georgia.

Sharlene Jameila Parham Joiner, 75 of East Dublin, Georgia sadly left us on Friday, October 4, 2024 after  battling thoracic sarcoma lung cancer.

She was born at Bronx Lebanon Hospital on January 1, 1949 to James and Shirley Parham.  Her family relocated to Staten Island, New York when she was nine months old.

Sharlene was educated by the New York City Public School System and attended The College of Staten Island.

Sharlene was employed for over ten years at Staten Island Hospital and retired in 1990.  She was a proud member of the union 1199.

Upon her retirement she relocated to East Dublin, Georgia with her husband, James and youngest daughter, Ashley.

Sharlene was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses congregation.  She was and baptized in June, 1997.

She leaves  her loving  husband,  James Joiner; her four loving children, James Peter Dudley, Kymberly Leslie Dudley, Kirk Dudley and Ashley Frazier; eight loving grandchildren: Quasiem Ruiz, Racquel Tavares, Saquan Kirk Dudley, Kirk J Dudley, Jr, Ayanna Symone Gibson, Salem Dominique Dudley, Giovanni Quadon Dudley, and Brielle Herrera; her loving mother, Shirley Parham; her sister, Renee Leslie Parham-Wilson and her husband,  Anthony Wilson.

She leaves behind a sisterhood of best friends:  Carol Mangin, Celestine Blue, Linda Beswick and Jessica Allen.

She was also a surrogate mother to Tanya Johnson, Tyshon Jefferson, Rodney Singletary, Charles Gardner and Ronald Davis. She also leaves cherished memories to a host of close family, friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her first born child, Robert Wilkes Dudley.
