Ms. Sandra Denise Lewis Jones of 1712 Williams Street, Valdosta, Georgia died Monday, April 8, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary 13th Street Church of God of Prophecy in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in  Cordele, Georgia.

Born Sandra Denise Lewis on December 10,1966 to the late Eddie C. Lewis  and Clara Mae Ford Lewis, in Cordele, GA. She was the baby of the family. She received a public education from Crisp County. She had a passion for children and substituted for the Crisp County School System for many years.

Sandra had a knack for being the life of any gathering and never meeting a stranger. She was affectionately known to her family as "Niecy" and to many locals as "Good Time." She professed her love for Christ at a very young age.

On April 8, 2024, she was called home to rest. She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie C. Lewis and siblings, Eddie James Lewis, Casey Lewis, and Ethelene Lewis.

Sandra leaves to honor and cherish her memory ,her mother, Clara Mae Lewis; four children: Mya (Shawn) Hill, Tanisha Jones, Crystal Jones, and Charles Jones Jr.; her five grandchildren: John Cody, Deanna Hawkins, Adaline Jones, Hazel Hill, and Harper Hill;  four siblings: Shirley High, Deborah (Charles) Glenn, Kathy Hinds, and Carl (Freddie Mae) Lewis; devoted family member and nephew, Leon High; and a host of empathetic relatives and loving friends.
