Mr. Roscoe Paul of 614 West 18th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
The graveside funeral service will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
Roscoe Paul, born on August 12, 1962, in Crisp County, Georgia to Johnnie B. Paul, Sr. and Adel Wilson Paul, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton, Georgia.
He accepted Christ early in life and joined the Spring Hill Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia.
Roscoe pursued his education in the public schools of Crisp County, attending Crisp County High School.
Known for his sense of humor, willingness to lend a helping hand, and passion for sports, particularly the Dallas Cowboys, he will be dearly missed. He was known for his strong work ethic and skillful hands, Roscoe's legacy of kindness and hard work will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
Along with parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Johnnie Lee Paul, Izola Dowdell, and Gloria Paul. He leaves many memories to his daughters, Shakeria Walker of Cordele, Georgia and Chassity Walker of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Jay'Ceon Blunt and Nasir Jones; his sisters, Bobbie Ann Paul, Fannie Mae Royal, and Helen Paul all of Cordele, Georgia, and Phyllis Stripling of Fort Valley, Georgia; his brothers, Johnnie B. Paul, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia, Elder Cleveland (Diane) Paul of Ashburn, Georgia, and Reverend Isaac (Kathleen) Owens of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts, Hattie Paul of Miami, Florida and Ellen Paul of Opa-locka, Florida; a host of nieces and nephews, to include a special niece, Margaret (Tyrone) Mitchell of Cordele, Georgia, a host of other relatives and friends.
