Mr. Robert Rapheal Wilson, Jr. of 128 Georgia Drive, Ashburn, Georgia died Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at Westview Memorial Garden in Ashburn, Georgia.
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.
Robert Rapheal Wilson, Jr. was born February 18, 1981 in Turner County, Georgia. He was born to Mr. Robert R. Wilson, Sr. and Mrs. Erma (Calvin) Thomas.
"Baby Ray," as he was affectionately called by his family and friends was educated in the public schools of Turner County.
A believer in Jesus Christ, he accepted him as his personal Savior and united with the Piney Grove Baptist Church.
On Thursday, February 8, 2024 our beloved peacefully slipped away. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. James & Mrs. Judy Dawson and Mr. Charlie George & Mrs. Emma Lou Wilson.
He is survived by his loving and devoted family, his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Sutton of Ashburn, Georgia; his parents, Mr. Calvin & Mrs. Erma Thomas and Mr. Robert Wilson, Sr. of Ashburn, Georgia; his sisters, Ms. Tameka Gaskins, Ms. Emily Wilson, Ms. Aidrienne Wilson, Ms. Shikina (James) Wilson and Ms. Shonice (Rick) Wilson of Ashburn, Georgia; his brothers, Mr. Mario (Tonja) Wilson, Mr. Calvin Thomas, Jr., Mr. Xavier Thomas, and Mr. Mark Wilson of Ashburn, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Mrs. Betty (Tony) Brown of Orlando, Florida, Mrs. Catherine (Roy Lee) Douglas, Mrs. Diane (Daryl) Taylor, Mr. Jessie Dawson, and Mr. Jerry Dawson of Ashburn, Georgia; his sisters-in-law, Ms. Nancy Sutton and Ms. Cynthia Sutton of Ashburn, Georgia; his brother-in-law, Mr. Willie Sutton of Ashburn, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include Mr. Carlos Walker, Mr. Luke Ezell, Mr. Neil Ezell, and Mr. Quan Ezell of Ashburn, Georgia.
