Mr. Robert Lee Brown of 106 Providence Circle, Warwick, Georgia died Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Warwick, Georgia.
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.
Our beloved, Mr. Robert Lee Brown was born July 27, 1941 in Worth County, Georgia. He was born to Mr. Harold Brown and Ms. Louise Newberry. He was reared in the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Florence Newberry and aunt until marriage.
His education was received from the Mount Olive School in Warwick, Georgia.
He worked as a farmer for many years. He developed a love for race cars and big trucks. Some of his most special moments were those spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he helped rear.
Whether sitting around talking or going for a ride on the weekend, he just enjoyed being with his family.
On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, he peacefully slipped away from this life. Along with his parents and grandmother, he is preceded in death by his son, Mr. Robert Lee Brown, Jr. and his son-in-law, Mr. Leroy Mitchell.
He will forever be remembered by his loving and devoted family: his children, Mr. John L. Brown (Eddie Jean) and Ms. Aline Mitchell of Cordele, Georgia; 14 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; his aunt, who served as his caregiver, Mother Willie Mae Walker of Warwick, Georgia; a host of family and friends, to include Mr. Robert Brown, Mrs. Kendrial Pruitt, Mr. Lee Brown, Ms. Loretta Carter, Mr. Roderick Walker, Mr. Curtis Jones, Mrs. Audrey Wheeler, and Ms. Latasha Brown.
