Mr. Ralph Franklin Dennard of 1918 South 10th Street, Cordele, Georgia, died Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his residence.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
Ralph Franklin Dennard, born on October 12, 1956, in Riviera Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Ralph was the cherished son of Johnny Lee Dennard Sr. and Bessie Mae Ludden Dennard. He received his education through the Crisp County School System, where he cultivated a love for learning that would carry him throughout his life.
Ralph was preceded in death by his beloved parents and siblings: Delores Cornelius, Charles Dennard Sr., Charlie Ludden, Claude Ludden, Johnny Dennard Sr., and Eugene Dennard. His memory will forever be treasured by those who survive him.
Ralph Franklin Dennard was a man whose life was marked by deep familial bonds and a wide circle of friends. His legacy is one of love, resilience, and the enduring connections he fostered throughout his life. In the hearts of those who knew him, Ralph's spirit will continue to live on, bringing warmth and fond memories to all who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Ralph leaves behind a loving family, including his children, Maurice Dennard of North Carolina and Rosa Bynes of San Antonio, Texas; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sisters, Ossie Smith and Mary Ramsey both of Riviera Beach, Florida, Louise Dennard of Rialto, California, and Graydean Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; his brothers, Curtis Ludden of Cordele, Georgia, Earnest Ludden of Long Beach, California, and Larry Dennard of Vienna, Georgia; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, to include: Alvita Inghram of Albany, Georgia; Cynthia Koenig of Riviera Beach, Florida; Frinchiss Dennard of Dallas, Texas; Chauncey Denton of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Elaine Hawthorne of West Palm Beach, Florida; BJ Thomas of Pasadena, California; Tracey West and Roger Mumphery of Cordele, Georgia; and Willie Hicks of Atlanta, Georgia.
