Prophetess Annie K. Streeter-Thomas of 149 Jenkins Road, Americus, Georgia died Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Emory Healthcare Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Friendship Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery in Americus, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Prophetess Annie Kate Streeter-Thomas "Kaye-Kaye," age 70, was called to be with Jesus on August 20, 2022 at Emory Mid-Town Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prophetess Streeter-Thomas was born on May 17, 1952 to the parentage of the late Clarence Jordan and Mary Jordan-Colwell.

Prophetess Streeter-Thomas graduated from the A. S. Staley High School with the class of 1970.  After leaving high school, she married and moved to Detroit, Michigan.

While in Detroit, Michigan, she worked as a Key Punch Operator Supervisor.  In 2006 she married David Arthur Thomas and they moved back to Americus, Georgia in 2009.

On her return she enrolled in South Georgia Technical College, receiving degrees and acknowledgements including an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education in 2012; an Associate Degree in Marketing Management of Applied Science in 2015; Certificate of Credit in Small Business Management Specialist in 2014; inducted into the National Technical College Honor Society in 2011; and a Gold Nominee Plaque in 2017.

She worked at South Georgia Technical College as an Administrative Assistant; Head Start; and Sumter County School System as a Substitute Teacher.

Prophetess Streeter-Thomas was a prayer warrior; a giver; mother to many; a leader and highly respected and thought of in the community.

Prophetess Streeter-Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Jordan and Mary Jordan-Colwell; her son, Andre Streeter; a niece, Tonya Jordan; a nephew, Kip Simpson; her grandparents and a host of uncles and aunts.

Prophetess Streeter-Thomas leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted  husband, David Arthur Thomas; son, Brokney Streeter, Mableton,    Georgia; grandson, Brysen Streeter, Houston, Texas; goddaughter, Priscilla Hicks, Americus, Georgia; brothers, Thomas (Juliette) Jordan, Americus, Georgia and John H. (Tommie) Jordan, Smyrna, Georgia; sisters, Inez Jordan, McDonough, Georgia, Gloria Simpson, Americus, Georgia and Sebrina Jordan, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; devoted niece, Sonya Jordan, McDonough, Georgia; devoted cousin/sister, Glover Dean Bell, Americus, Georgia; uncle, Ezell Shelton, Americus, Georgia; aunt, Mae Frances Merritt, Plains, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Gussie Thomas, Richland, Georgia and Patricia (Clifford) Thomas Hammond, West Palm Beach, Florida; brothers-in-law, John Thomas, Richland, Georgia and Willis Thomas, Cocoa Beach, Florida; stepchildren, Alicia Thomas, Albany, Georgia, Yolunda Thomas, Detroit, Michigan, Erica Thomas, Ohio, and Cindy Thomas, Detroit, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her special Prayer Line group also survive.
