Mrs. Peggy N. Lee of Valdosta, Georgia, died Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia. The burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The public visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 12:00 Noon - 7:00 PM at Scott & Roberts Mortuary.
Mrs. Peggy Nell Lee, a beloved member of the Valdosta community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the South Georgia Medical Center. Born on September 9, 1942, in Lake Park, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of the late Mattie Miller and Jessie Mitchell. Peggy was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Lessie Miller (June) and T.W. Wright.
A proud graduate of Pinevale High School, Peggy went on to marry the late Benjamin Lee, with whom she shared a life filled with love and mutual respect. Peggy was known for her loving nature, her ability to speak her mind, and her unwavering persistence. She was dependable, very opinionated, and cared for others more than herself—a testament to her selfless character.
Peggy dedicated 42 years of service to the South Georgia Medical Center, where she retired as a respected and cherished employee. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her faith as a longtime member of the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Lee; son-in-law, Alvin Knight; grandson, Willie Robinson; granddaughter, Brittany Flagg; and god-son, Pastor Charles Dave. Despite these losses, her legacy of love and family endures through her surviving family members.
Peggy Nell Lee will be remembered for her loving spirit, her outspoken nature, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
Her life, her love, and her legacy will be cherished by her sons, Willie Carl Robinson (Emma) and Kenneth Robinson, both of Valdosta, Georgia; her daughter, Mattie Barnes of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Melissa Dean (Brandon), Lakesha Smith, Kenneth Robinson Jr., Daniel Robinson, Bryant Flagg, and Micah Taylor; a host of great grandchildren; her godchildren, Mae Thomas (Tarrence), Brian Williams (Erica), and Olif Dave; her special friends, Irene Brown, Reverend Jasper Daniels (Mary), Betty Harper, Sheriff Ashley Paulk (Ginger), and Elizabeth Jenkins; and a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
