Mrs. Patricia Ann "Pat" Felton Robinson, a beloved member of the community, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 74 years old.
Pat was born on June 16, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Cora Lee Felton Bridges. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Willie Grant and Mrs. Beulah Grant, as well as her siblings, Mr. James "Randy" Bridges and Mrs. Bernell Morgan.
Pat was educated in the Crisp County School System, where she graduated from A. S. Clark High School. She was employed as a seamstress at Cordele Uniform Company for over 30 years, where she dedicated her skills and passion to her work.
Family was the heart of Pat's life. She deeply loved her husband, Mr. Kelvin Robinson of Cordele, Georgia, her three sons: Mr. Bruce (Wanda) Hamilton of Albany, Georgia; Mr. Casey (Tomica) Felton of Atlanta, Georgia; and Mr. Korey (Tamika) Felton of Cordele, Georgia; her stepchildren: Mr. Kelvin Burnam, Mr. Calvin Burnam, Ms. Renada Burnam, and Mrs. Kanisha (Maurice) Harris. She took great joy in spoiling her grandchildren, Mr. Brandon Hamilton, Miss Brittany Hamilton, Mr. Castavious Felton, Miss Caitlyn Felton, Miss Jakoria Felton, and Ms. Santana Burns and her great grandchild, Halen Harrell who cherished the quality time spent with their grandmother. In addition to her own grandchildren, Pat held a special place in the hearts of many other children, who considered her their grandmother as well.
Pat was renowned for her exceptional cooking, particularly her delicious cakes that brought joy to all who tasted them. Whether it was a rich caramel cake, a moist and flavorful red velvet, or a delicious key lime cake, each bite was a delightful experience that left you craving another one. She enjoyed family gatherings, where she could gather with her loved ones and enjoy their company. Pat loved to cook large amounts of her family's favorite dishes, ensuring there was more than enough to share.
In addition to her immediate family, Pat is survived by her brothers: Mr. Lewis Bridges and Mr. Ernest Bridges of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Ms. Sharrie Dillon of Jacksonville, Florida; a very special aunt, Mrs. Carrie Brooks of Cordele, Georgia; a very special nephew, Mr. Sarabia J. Tiller of Port St. Joe, Florida; her in-laws, Mr. Timothy (JoAnne) Robinson, Mrs. Katherine (Harold) Chaney and Mrs. Latanga (Jerry) Neal; a loving best friend, Mrs. Juanita Montford, and the loving daughter she never had, Ms. Katrina McCloud. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of close friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Pat's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who knew her. She was truly a remarkable woman, and her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace with our Lord.
