Pastor Calvin Roy Jackson, Jr. of Riverview, Florida died Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
The graveside funeral service will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at Westview Memorial Garden in Ashburn, Georgia.
Pastor Calvin R. Jackson Jr. was born August 12, 1976 in Turner County, Georgia at Turner County hospital. He was born to Mr. Calvin R. Jackson Sr. and Mrs. Barbara Jackson.
Calvin completed his education with the Turner County School System. He later furthered his education at Moultrie Technical School.
Calvin was employed with Support Champions, where he was part owner. He was a strong manager while still being an awesome husband and father to his family. Calvin served faithfully in many aspects of ministry being ordained as a minister and an elder. At the time of his transition, he served as Associate Pastor of Oasis Church @ Zephyrhills where he served faithfully under the leadership of Apostle Francesca Stubbs, his spiritual mother. He also served on the Apostolic Council for The Oasis Apostolic & Prophetic Network(OAPN).
Calvin was a man a valor. He had a loving and caring spirit that could be seen in his smile and felt in his hugs. He was truly a man after God's own heart. He loved deeply and genuinely cared about the well-being of others.
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, this man of valor and gentle giant was set free from this world of pain and suffering. We will forever remember his smile, his hugs, and his voice always pointing us to Jesus. While his absence on this side has left a pain in our hearts that is so great that words can't describe. His homecoming was welcomed by loved ones who have gone on before him including his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
He will forever be remembered and loved by his loving and devoted wife, Andrea Jackson of Riverview, FL. His children, Xavian Bivens, Tariyah Adams, Brannon Jackson and Caleb Jackson. His parents, Calvin Jackson Sr. and Barbara Jackson of Ashburn, Georgia. His siblings, Eric Jackson of Dallas, Texas; Min. McKenzie (Pamela) Jackson of Tifton, Georgia; Tina Jackson of Cordele, Georgia. His mother-in-law, Laura Bivens of Riverview, FL and a host of loving nieces and nephews; many sorrowing cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
