Pastor Bernice Jones Paul of College Park, Georgia, formerly of Turner County, Georgia, died Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries in Albany, Georgia.  The burial will follow at Westview Memorial Garden in Ashburn, Georgia.

Pastor Bernice Paul lived a life full of love for God for her family, and herself. She loved life, and it indeed showed. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and humble servant of God and her pastor. She willingly served the Lord and she was on fire for him. She was not afraid of the devil and boldly declared the word of God.

She lived by example, and she led many to Christ with love. Oh, and how she loved to talk to people from all walks of life, and especially her church members and family. She especially enjoyed talking with her immediate family and strangers as well. She was the life of the party and full of joy and the spirit of God. When she wasn't preaching and teaching the word of God, she loved spending time with family,  reading, and studying the word of God.  She also took time enjoying her favorite hobby, which was shopping.

She went on for many years preaching and teaching the word of God, traveling, casting out demons, and ministering until her health began to decline so she decided to take a break and "retire from preaching". It was during this time that she went to church, spent time with family, her grand baby, and took care of herself and family.

After the passing of her late husband, Mr. Richard Paul, she stayed by herself for two more years until she became ill and had a massive stroke. It was by the Grace of God and a daughter that can hear and be led of the spirit that she was found alive. She later was moved to Atlanta to spend the remainder of her life with her daughter and grandson where she lived for the next six years so she could be well taken care of and seen about until she would quietly pass away at the hospital leaving her daughter, son in love, son, daughter in love, and grand son behind.

Pastor Bernice (Richard) Paul is survived by her three children: Mr. Lyndon Jones, Mr. Levalis (Vanessa) Paul, and Mrs. Erica (Leonardo) Warner;  her brothers and sisters, Mr. Eddie (Mildred) Jones, Mr. Enoch  (Debbie) Jones, Ms. Annie Ruth Jones, and Ms. Dale Jones; her    in- laws, Mrs. Betty (Johnnie) Miller, Mrs. Mary Mathis, and Mrs. Gail Jones; her grandchildren, Isaiah J. Pete, Nana Jones, Little Lyndon and Shannon Jones, Braxton Paul and Dorian Paul; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family member and family friends.
