Mr. Na'im Saleem Kareem Sanders of 901 South Gordon Street, Ashburn, Georgia, died Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Zion Hope Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Shingler, Georgia.

Na'im Saleem Kareem Sanders was born on September 4, 1981, in Ashburn, Georgia, to Major Sanders and Glenda Walker. He spent his formative years attending Irwinville Grace Christian Academy and later graduating in 2000 from Turner County High School.

Growing up, Na'im was an active member of his community. His early spiritual life was nurtured at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where he attended services with his mother. In later years, he and his family worshipped at Pinehill Missionary Baptist Church.

While in high school, he met Belinda Spears, and their love grew.  On November 10, 2016, Na'im married Belinda, and over their years together, they built a loving family. Na'im was a devoted husband and father, always cherishing his roles as a son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend.

Na'im, along with his brother, ventured into the trucking industry, starting a business in honor of their mother, Glenda "Lip" Walker. He also worked for Birdsong Peanuts in Ashburn, Georgia. A true sports enthusiast, Na'im was a dedicated fan of the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs, and Detroit Pistons. His outgoing personality and bright smile were infectious to those around him.

Na'im's legacy is one of love, laughter, and dedication—qualities that will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.  Na'im was  preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Walker, and his grandparents, John and Essie Love Walker, and Earnest and Hattie Mae Sanders. He    transitioned from this life on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.

He leaves cherished and loving memories with his loving and devoted wife, Belinda Spears Sanders of Ashburn, Georgia; his adored children, Naeemah Sanders of Ashburn, Georgia, Na'im Saleem Kareem Sanders, Jr. of  Ashburn, Georgia, Shiniah Thayer of Cordele, Georgia and Nia Sanders of Ashburn, Georgia; his beloved father and stepmother, Major Sanders and Dr. Juanita Sanders of Ashburn, Georgia; his sisters, Shantate Sanders of Tifton, Georgia, Sakinah (Marrion) Boone of Ashburn, Georgia, and   Petrissa Carter of Montgomery, Alabama; his brothers, Derrick Walker of Valdosta, Georgia, James King of Ashburn, Georgia, Patrick (Rori) Walker of Bonaire, Georgia, Jameel Sanders of Hinesville, Georgia, Jashaun Johnson and Taydrain (Sharon) Sanders, both of Ashburn, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Eloise Tiller, Betty Grant, Mildred Walker, Verlene Smith, Felton and Annie Doris Walker, Frank and Alice Walker, Peggy Canady, Martha Sanders, Larry Sanders, Gilbert Sanders, James Hayes, Darren (Gwen) Middlebrooks, and Gail Green; his father-in-law, Albert Spears, Jr. of Ashburn, Georgia; his sisters-in-law, Sabrina (Frank) Smith, Roxanne (Elreco) Morrow, Tshara (Morris) Johnson, Michelle Spears, and Charlene Spears; his brothers-in-law, Mallory (Lisa) Thornton, Allen Spears, Andrew Spears, and Albert Spears, III; a host of nieces and nephews, many cousins, other relatives, and numerous sorrowing friends, including his special friends, Fredrick Bernard  Herring and Tim Jordan.
