Mr. Myron Trice of 2002 South 8th Street, Cordele, Georgia died Thursday, April 14, 2022 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Oakfield, Georgia. Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
Mr. Myron Trice was born February 1, 1950 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia. He was born to the late Mr. Walter Trice and the late Mrs. Lucille Trice Tolbert.
He was educated in the public schools of Crisp County. Early in life he confessed hope in the Christ and became a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Oakfield, Georgia.
A natural outdoors man, he enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and cutting grass. Spending time with his family and just having fun were also amongst the things that he loved to do.
On Thursday, April 14, 2022, he was released from the cares of this life. While he will forever be missed, the joy he imparted as he lived will live on forever.
Precious memories of his life will forever cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Demetria Trice of Cordele, Georgia; his loving and caring children, Ms. Sumetria Trice of Tallahassee, Florida, Ms. Samantha Trice of Cordele, Georgia, Mrs. Angie (Tony) Merritt of Jacksonville, Florida, Ms. Lucille Trice, Mr. Lonnie Williams, Mr. Anthony Williams, and Mr. Barnard Williams all of Cordele, Georgia; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his loving sisters, Mrs. Marilyn Williams of Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Delois (Cecil) Byron of Titusville, Florida, Mrs. Minnie Mitchell and Mrs. Bernice (Freddie) Pittman of Cordele, Georgia, and Mrs. Agnes (Eddie) Stubbs of Atlanta, Georgia; his beloved brothers, Mr. James (Lucy) Trice, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Izeal (Linda) Walker of Macon, Georgia, and Mr. Earnest (Sylvia) Trice of Cordele, Georgia; his aunt and uncle, Mrs. Mary Kendrick of Sylvester, Georgia and Mr. Sonny (Melva) Beaton of Macon, Georgia; his in-laws, Ms. Teresa Williams, Ms. Latrina (Larry) Bass, Mr. Michael Smith and Mr. Fredrick Smith all of Cordele, Georgia; many nieces and nephews, to include a devoted nephew, Mr. Jamion Trice of Cordele, Georgia; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include, Deacon Earl Griffin and Judge Gail Sims of Cordele, Georgia.
