Ms. Shaquana Roberts of 609 Mobley Street, Vienna, Georgia, died Monday, August 17, 2026, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.

Shaquana Lekia Roberts, affectionately known to all who loved her as "Coco," was born on March 22, 1993, in Americus, Georgia, to Handson Roberts, Jr. and Freda Janel Mathis. On Monday, August 17, 2026, Coco peacefully transitioned, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

Coco received her education through the Dooly County and Tift County School systems. Known for her tireless work ethic, she was a dedicated professional who balanced two careers, working at Burger King in Unadilla during the day and serving as a night manager at Krystal in Cordele.

Full of vibrant energy and a magnetic personality, Coco was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and SpongeBob SquarePants. She found great joy in gaming, spending countless hours mastering her favorite video games, and held a tender place in her heart for animals of all kinds. Above all, Coco was a proud "Momma’s Girl" who loved her family to the fullest. Whether enjoying a meal out with loved ones or pouring love into her niece Samiya—whom she cherished as her own—her bright spirit, playful humor, and genuine kindness illuminated every room she entered.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Freda Janel Mathis; her paternal grandparents, Martha Love and Handson Roberts, Sr.

Coco’s radiant life and the unforgettable joy she imparted will forever be cherished by: her father, Handson Roberts, Jr. of Ashburn, Georgia; her stepfather, Maurice Sanford, Sr. of Cordele, Georgia; her brothers, Alonzo Maddox of Vienna, Georgia, Timothy Jackson and Reginald Jackson, both of Albany, Georgia; her sister, Shakeysha Anderson of Vienna, Georgia; her stepbrother, Maurice Sanford, Jr.; her grandparents, Laverne Smith of Vienna, Georgia, and Carl Ruben Smith (Minister Annie) of Vienna, Georgia; her niece, Samiya Felton of Cordele, Georgia; her aunts and uncles, LaMonica Stokes of Jacksonville, Georgia; Latonya Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, Detrice Smith (Ricky) of Unadilla, Georgia, Tamika Jenkins (Richard) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Keiara Cotton and Darion Turner of Vienna, Georgia, Dorothy Ruth Roberts of Warner Robins, Georgia, Linda Jean Coley of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Julia Mae Roberts and Geneva Roberts Howard of Rochelle, Georgia, and Walter James Roberts (Cora) of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of loving cousins, extended relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
