Mrs. Natalie D. Youngs

Mrs. Natalie Denise Hall Youngs of 600 Pineview Way, Vienna, Georgia, died Friday, July 17, 2026, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the New Providence Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia.

Natalie Denise Youngs was born February 13, 1960, in Ashburn, Georgia, to Walter M. Hall Jr. and Eunice Lewis Hall, who later married Howard Michael Gaither (all of whom predeceased her).

She attended public school in Turner County, graduating valedictorian in the class of 1978. Always sociable, Natalie was active in Girl Scouts and a children’s singing group, the Red Circles. In her senior year, her classmates elected her class president and voted her Homecoming Queen.

Natalie joined New Providence Missionary Baptist Church at age nine, beginning a lifelong relationship with the church where she was known for her generosity, kindness and dedication to serving others. She served as the Sunday School secretary during her teenage years.

Natalie attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta on a full academic scholarship, where she pursued her interests in the medical field, beginning her career at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Her aptitude and attention to detail in patient care led to opportunities with private and public medical and mortuary service providers, taking her to California, Virginia and ultimately, back home to Georgia.

United in marriage in Atlanta in 1998, she and Edwardo Arnulfo Youngs, who preceded her in death, shared the blessing of two children, Zachary Claude Youngs and Zoe Claire Youngs.

After returning to her hometown later in life, she embarked on a career spanning more than 15 years with Turner County Schools. Beginning as a long-term substitute teacher, she went on to serve as a paraprofessional, media center assistant, school bookkeeper, and administrative assistant before joining Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele as a pathology secretary, where she remained until her retirement.

Even at the youthful age of 66, she remained full of energy and devoted to serving her community. Returning as a substitute teacher, she brought the kindness, compassion, and servant's heart for which she was known, leaving a lasting impression on all those she encountered.

Above all, she would say her “real” job was encouraging others in Christian love. A highly active daily prayer partner with lifelong “texting” friends, her love of God remained evident in all aspects of her life.

Chatty by nature and known for her warm spirit, Natalie faithfully served at New Providence through the usher board, where she greeted everyone who entered the sanctuary with her gracious smile. She shared her talent and wisdom with the youth department as a children’s church teacher and dutifully served as church clerk for many years. With her gentle soul and contagious smile, she touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Although she has departed this life, her light will forever remain. Natalie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her devoted family: son, Zachary Claude (Devor Wright) of Lenox, Georgia; daughter, Zoe Claire of Ashburn, Georgia, and sister, Beverly Hall Lawrence (Calvin) of Queens, New York.

Her grandchildren and true lights of her life: Zachary Jr., Carson and Zion Youngs; and her bonus “GG babies,” Harmony Carruth and Demiyzeo Vail. Devoted family: cousins, Monique (Algenard, Jaylen and Camden) Bryant, Daedra (Gabriel and Gabrielle) Jackson and Jacovius McKinney. Sisters and brothers-in-law Claudia, Claude Jr., Johnny, Ernesto and Lucho Youngs. Close friends Gwenda Daniels and Ronald “Pee-Wee’” Martin.
