Ann Eva Ford Walker, 76, of Stamford, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on September 16, 2026 surrounded by her family and friends.

Ann was born on September 28, 1949, in Dooly County, Georgia, to the late Ervin and Carrie Lee Ford. Raised in a loving and close-knit family, she developed the values of faith, hard work, and kindness that would guide her throughout her life. She received her education through the Dooly County Public School System.

In 1965, Ann married the late Willie Lee Brown, and together they moved to Stamford, Connecticut, where they made their home. In the 1970s, Ann became a devoted mother and lovingly raised their two daughters, Renee and Iris Brown. During those years, Ann worked at Bunker Ramo and Courtland Gardens, compassionately caring for those in need.

Although Ann and Willie later divorced, she remained a proud Stamford resident for the next 61 years. Through unwavering strength, determination, and unconditional love, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family while instilling in her daughters the values of faith, respect, and perseverance.

In the early 1980s, Ann began her 18-year career with the State of Connecticut at the Lower Fairfield County Regional Center in Norwalk as a Developmental Services Associate. She retired in 1999.

In 1986, Ann married David Walker, Sr. of Stamford, Connecticut. She became a loving wife and a devoted mother to his two sons, David Jr. and Matthew Walker, embracing them with the same love, guidance, and devotion she gave to her own daughters.

Ann found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved preparing meals and bringing family and friends together around her table, where everyone was made to feel welcome. She also enjoyed decorating her home, shopping for clothes, and took pride in always looking her best. One of Ann’s greatest joys was visiting her family in Georgia. Although miles separated them, she treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family and remained deeply connected to her roots.

Those moments reflected the love and care that defined Ann’s life. Ann’s greatest accomplishment was the love she poured into her family and friends. She was the rock of her family—a devoted sister, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, whose strength, determination and kindness, inspired all who knew and loved her.

Ann will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, David Walker, Sr., of Stamford, CT; two daughters, Renee Brown, Stamford, CT and Iris Brown of Norwalk, CT; two sons David Walker Jr., of Yuma, AZ, and Matthew Walker (Corina Walker) of the Philippines; Grandchildren, Gavin White of Charlotte, NC; Tyler O’Banner of Stamford, CT; Desirae Barnwell, Norwalk, CT and Bryce Barnwell (Kaylin) of Fort Riley, KS; Great-grand child; Caiden Armstrong of Stamford CT; Amir Walker, Tucson, AZ; Mikaela, Walker, Atlanta, GA; Leilani, Lilly and Lenox of the Philippines; her sisters, Christine (Jack) Lester of Unadilla, GA, Lillie Mae Taylor, and Yvonne Ford, both of Unadilla, GA; her brother, Willie Albert Ford, Sr., of Unadilla, GA; her aunt, Rose Bryant of Perry, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many mourning friends.

Her Parents, Mr. Ervin Ford and Mrs. Carrie Lee Ford , along with her son Michael Antonio Alexander, siblings, Ethel Lawson, Mary Middlebrooks, Clarence Ford, Calvin Ford, Ervin Ford, Jr., and Robert Ford each preceded her in death.
