Mr. Thomas Redding of 1114 Blackshear Road, Cordele, Georgia, died Friday, August 21, 2026, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

Mr. Thomas Redding, affectionately known to family and friends as "Bobby," passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia. 

Bobby was born on September 1, 1957, in Cordele, Georgia, to the late Thomas West and the late Eula Mae Hamilton. He received his education in the Crisp County School System.  He was also a Mason.

He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory: his children: Johnny Wedges of Albany, Georgia; Donnie Wedges (Katiesha) of Warner Robins, Georgia; Konisha Moreland (Earthiwind) of Atlanta, Georgia; Erika Redding of Atlanta, Georgia; Taurus Ross of Atlanta, Georgia; Dartanio Blackmon (Marshae) of Jacksonville, Florida; and Shekita Smith of Valdosta, Georgia; eight grandchildren; his sister, Loufrieda Bembry (Albert) of Cordele, Georgia; his brothers: Ronnie Hamilton, Kent Hamilton, Jesse Hamilton, and Ricky Smith, all of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts: Clara McGill, Lillie Redding, Lena Cross, Minnie Redding, and Jennie Canady; his niece, Juarquetta Williams; his friends: Mallory Smith, Peggy Brown, and Lloyd Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
