Mother Lenora Walker McNeal, a joyous and spiritual woman, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born on November 3, 1928, in Dooly County, Vienna, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of Floyd Walker and Ila Lee Hammond.

Lenora received her early education at Piney Grove Church School, completing the 11th grade, and later relocated to Winter Haven, Florida, where her spiritual journey flourished.

In Winter Haven, she became an esteemed member of the St. Paul Holiness Church. After 49 years of dedicated service, she moved to Cordele, Georgia, and joined the Cordele Church of God In Christ.  She served faithfully on the Mother's Board until her health began to decline. Her commitment to her faith and community was unwavering, and she found joy in attending the Senior Citizen's Center, where she crafted beautiful quilts and engaged in her love for people.

Mother's passions extended beyond her church and community. She loved gospel singers and delighted in  collecting roosters and found peace in the simple pleasure of fishing. Her love for her family was paramount, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and loved ones, Manuel Smith, Sheyron Laster and Andre Haywood. Mother's spirit and love will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. She embodied the true essence of joy and spirituality, and her life was a testament to her unwavering faith and love for her family and community.

Her memory will be eternally treasured by her loving and devoted children: Ruby Holder (Johnny) of Melbourne, Florida; Carolyn Clark (Willie) of Winter Haven, Florida; Missionary Gwen Relaford (Deacon Wallace) of Cordele, Georgia; Vivian Evone Fullwood of Knoxville, Tennessee; Bevelyn Brown (Donald) of Cordele, Georgia; Vickie Haynes (Alvin) of Jacksonville, Florida; and Bridgett Thompson (Roy) of Winter Haven, Florida; her stepchildren: John Laster (Earlene) of  Drayton, Georgia; Annie Smith of Vienna, Georgia; Edgar Laster, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia; and Stephanie Smith and siblings of Miami, Florida; twenty-two beloved grandchildren, including Greg Relaford and Mona Harrison, both of whom she reared;  26 great-grandchildren; her godchildren: Nikki Johnson Green, Kenneth Smith, Judy Oliver, Rosia West, and Ilene Payne, and her Cordele Institutional COGIC families; her special nieces, Mother Lillie Mathis of Cordele, Georgia; Nora Pearl Barnes of Cleveland, Ohio; and Norma Mathis of Orlando, Florida; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, her special friend Mother Naomi Stubbs of Cordele, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
