Mother Emma Love Burch Jackson of 810 West 15th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia died Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery, Cordele, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Our beloved, Emma Love Burch was born on January 18, 1931 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Gene and Mattie Burch.

Emma Burch attended school in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  After finishing school she would go on to have eight children, all deceased.

Emma moved to Cordele, Georgia in the 1950's where she met and married the love of her life, William Benjamin Franklin Jackson, Jr.

She loved the Lord and enjoyed worshiping and fellowshipping with others.  She was never a stranger in the house of the Lord.

For 22 years she was an active participant at the Cordele Senior Citizens Center.  She enjoyed quilting and making blankets.

On Sunday, March 13, 2022 she peacefully transitioned from this life.  Many wonderful memories are left to her children, Anita Jackson Williams (Brian), Frederick Jackson, Sr., and Scottie B. Jackson; 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Gwen Thomas; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Jackson Hicks; two nieces, Edna Clay and Connie James; her great nieces and great nephew, Barbara Bryant (Keith), Barbara Clay, and Warren Bivens (Bessie); a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
