Mother Ida Louise Anderson of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida died Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Fort Early Baptist Church in Warwick, Georgia. The burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
A TIME TO BE BORN: Ida Louise Anderson was born September 17, 1938 to the late Mary Watson Hall. Ida was the eldest of sixteen siblings.
A TIME TO LOVE: She loved her immediate and extended family which was near and dear to her. Lewis Charles Weldon (deceased), James Charles Weldon (Ernestine), Willie James Williams (deceased), Walter James Williams (Mae Sallie), Edward James Williams, Willa Mae Jackson (Curtis), Dorothy Jean Hall, Cynthia Ann Porter, Condeal Copeland (Boisy, Sr.), Connie Hall, Dennis Donnel Hall (Ola Mae), Daphne Hall Alford (Bobby), Bonnie Faye Morris (Will), Rev. Donnie Ray Hall (Amanda) and Rev. Tony Anthony Hall (Alice)
A TIME TO MOURN: On July 8, 2023, Ida slipped away from us into the hands of the Almighty God. Ida was a faithful member of Fort Early Missionary Baptist Church, Warwick, Georgia and loved her church family. She also attended Prayer Works Ministries, International under the leadership of Senior Pastor Joan McKay.
She leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her homegoing, Bobby Stripling Jr., Hollywood, Florida, Gwendolyn D. Stripling (Nada), Oakland, California, Belinda Stripling Wright who preceded her in death (Stevie), Maurice Cobb (Nancy), Vienna, Georgia, Calvin Armstrong (Daphane), Midway, Georgia, Carlos S. Armstrong, Sr. (Tammy), Apex, North Carolina, Fredderick McClean, Temple, Texas; a devoted goddaughter, Gloria Williams (Charles), Pembroke Pines, Florida.
She also leaves 19 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family members and friends. Also, noteworthy, a cherished special friend, Mr.Tommy Harold, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
