Mother Pauline Coley Troutman of 18 Acorn Loop, Rochelle, Georgia, died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 3:30 PM in the sanctuary of Pine City Baptist Church in Rochelle, Georgia.  The burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

Mother Pauline Coley Troutman, born on September 7, 1929, in Rochelle, Wilcox County, Georgia, was the beloved daughter of Ike Coley and Violet Florence Coley. Her early years were spent in the nurturing environment of Wilcox County, where she was educated in the public school system. Driven by a passion for caring for others, she pursued further training and became a  Certified Nursing Assistant, dedicating her life to the service of others.

Mother confessed her hope in Christ and became a faithful servant at Pine City Baptist Church. She held the esteemed role of "Mother of the Church" and was an active member of the Mission Board and an usher. Her commitment to her faith and community was unwavering, and she served wherever she was needed. In addition to her church duties, Mother shared her love for gospel music as a member of two singing groups, touching many lives with her voice and spirit.

Among her many interests, she loved shopping, sewing clothes, and cooking greens. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and   nourishment, where she shared her culinary talents with family and friends. Known for her generous heart, many people  affectionately called her "Mom," recognizing her natural ability to teach and nurture those around her.

She was united in marriage to Moses Lee Troutman, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a loving family, which became the cornerstone of her life. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Troutman, and her siblings, Fannie Reeves, Dessie Thomas, Jessie Coley, Carrie Bailey, Mat Coley, and Rosa Lee Coley.

On Sunday, February 15, 2026, Mother Pauline Coley Troutman transitioned from this life, leaving behind a rich tapestry of love, faith, and community. Her influence and love for children were evident through her natural teaching abilities and her commitment to nurturing future generations. As we celebrate her life, we hold dear the memories and lessons she imparted upon us all.

Her memory lives on through her loving and devoted children: Charles Troutman of Rochelle, Georgia; Richard Troutman (Marylee); Mary Cheese (Ronnie); Loletha Freeman (Frank); and Connie McAdoo (Hollis), all of Pitts, Georgia. Her legacy extends to her 22 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren, and 67 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,   other relatives, and a multitude of friends.
