Ms. Monica Vanessa Hadley of 1102 McClendon Court, Cordele, Georgia died Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services must wear a mask and practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

Randolph Porter, Sr., and Emma Brown Porter were blessed with the birth of a daughter on January 18, 1974. They named their precious gift, Monica Vanessa.

Born in Cordele, Georgia, Monica was enrolled in the public school system. She graduated from Warner Robins High School. While in high school she excelled in both Basketball and Softball. She attended Macon Tech where she pursued her interest in becoming a Nail Tech.

A believer in Jesus Christ, Monica worshipped at New Jerusalem Cathedral in North Carolina. She enjoyed sharing the good news of what the Lord meant to her.

Monica possessed a caring spirit that allowed her to be a devoted mother and grandmother, a loving sister and aunt. She was regarded as a dear friend to so many.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, her beautiful and loving soul was peacefully lifted from this earthly life. Her parents, Randolph and Emma, and her sister, Anita Porter Williams, preceded her in death.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving and devoted sons, Sarabian Porter and Marcus Hadley both of Albany, Georgia; her precious granddaughter, Khylee Summer Hadley; her loving sisters, Tawaina Porter and Latosha Porter both of Cordele, Georgia; her caring brothers, Randolph  Porter, Jr. of Macon, Georgia, Benton Porter and Samuel Churn (Yolanda) both of Cordele, Georgia; her aunts and   uncles, Marie Porter, Eddie Porter, Jr., Geraldine West, and Thelma Porter all of Cordele, Georgia, and Booker T. Porter of Thomasville, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Onemia Porter, Azoria Green, Kamorie Porter, Marquis Porter, Demarius Shoemore, and Janerius Porter; her grand nephews, Brayden Evans and Caleb Porter; a brother-in-law, Keith Williams of Cordele, Georgia; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends, to include, Lafonda Vason, Demetrius Byron, Lakeysha McAfee, Lakeshia Brown, Stephanie   Johnson (Mandle), Wilson Williams, Jr., Jerald Brown, Debra Porter, the entire Barthell and Benjamin Family.
