Ms. Jazmine Nicole Gaines

Ms. Jazmine Nicole Gaines, formerly of Cordele, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.

Jazmine Nicole Gaines, affectionately known to everyone as "Jazz," was born on December 3, 1995, in Cordele, Georgia, to Keisha (Corey) Parker and Jason (Sholondria) Gaines.

Jazz received her formal education in North Carolina, graduating from T.C. Roberson High School in Arden before continuing her studies at Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville. Dedicated to her spiritual walk, she was a devoted and active member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Arden, North Carolina.

To know Jazz was to know joy, warmth, and laughter. An all-around loving soul, she lit up every room with her bright spirit and vibrant energy. She had a passion for dancing, a gift for baking sweet treats, and a legendary love for strawberries. Whether she was joking around with loved ones or relaxing while playing games on her phone, Jazz embraced life with an open heart and brought constant happiness to those around her.

On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, Jazz transitioned peacefully into eternal rest.

Her beautiful memory and loving spirit will forever be cherished by: her devoted parents: Keisha (Corey) Parker of Arden, North Carolina, and Jason (Sholondria) Gaines of Hawkinsville, Georgia; her siblings, Jason Januun Gaines and Justin Jamaal Gaines of Arden, North Carolina, Shonterika Lewis of Cordele, Georgia, Saniyah Gaines and Harmoni Gaines of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Jordan Gaines of Warner Robins, Georgia; her stepsister, Keyondria Thomas of South Carolina.; her nephew and nieces, Jakyus, Ja’Nydia, Jah’nezmyriah, and Thyrie Gaines, TJ, Jiidah, and Shamar Young, Paris Morgan, and Daelah Jones; her aunts & uncles: Johnny Dawson, Steve Dawson, Connie (Kevin) West, and Michelle (Frederic) Smith, all of Cordele, Georgia; Carla Dawson of Atlanta, Georgia and Chasity (Christopher) Perekebina of Vienna, Georgia; her special cousins: Shantaneka Mitchell of Arden, North Carolina, and Felisity Fenn of Cordele, Georgia;. a host of loving cousins, extended family members, church family, and many sorrowing friends.
