Mr. Michael Marques Scott of 391 Dykes Avenue, Rochelle, Georgia died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in Pineview, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church in Rochelle, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Piney Grove Cemetery in Rochelle, Georgia.

Michael Marquese Scott was born on November 19, 1998, in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He spent his formative years in Rochelle, Georgia, where he attended Wilcox County High School and graduated in 2018. Michael was baptized as a child at the Pentecostal Full Gospel Crusade, which laid the foundation for his strong faith and values.

Michael had a deep love for his family and friends, cherishing the moments spent with them. He particularly enjoyed sitting under the tree in his mother's yard, finding peace and joy in its shade. His nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart, and he was known for his gentle and caring nature.

On March 26, 2025, Michael left this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by a loving family, including, his devoted mother, Julia Scott of Rochelle, Georgia; his loving parents, Michael Scott of Warner Robins, Georgia, and John (Willa) Thompson of Rochelle, Georgia; his sisters, Laporcha Emory and Ty-Shonda Emory of Rochelle, Georgia; his brothers, Victor (Kanesha) Grace of Hawkinsville, Georgia, John Thompson, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia, Demaricus Lawson, and Jamaricus Lawson of Rochelle, Georgia; his stepsisters, Wendy Childs of Rochelle, Georgia, and Sierra McGill of Stockbridge, Georgia; his stepbrother, Joshua McGill of Rochelle, Georgia; his grandparents, Norma Emory of Rochelle, Georgia, and Elsa & Florine Scott of Sycamore, Georgia; his aunts and  uncles, Jerome Emory, Vernice Emory, and Rose Miller of Rochelle, Georgia, Sharon (Joshua) Brown of Warner Robins, Georgia, Elson (Sheryll) Scott of Waycross, Georgia, Tony (Tomicka) Scott and Rhonda Williams of Ashburn, Georgia, Gabriel (Belinda) Scott of Tifton, Georgia, and Willene Crockett of Sycamore, Georgia; a special aunt, Glenda McNair of Rochelle, Georgia; a special friend, Andreia Gilbert of Eastman, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, cousins, to include his sister/cousin, Darmesha Miller of Abbeville, Georgia and a special cousin, Demetria Emory of Warner Robins, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
