Michael Allen Clark was born on April 1, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he discovered a lifelong passion for teamwork, dedication, and excellence. He attended Johns Hopkins University, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business.

Michael's competitive spirit and athletic talent shone brightly on the lacrosse field. As an All-American lacrosse player, he helped lead the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays to three consecutive National Championships from 1967 to 1969, cementing his place in the university's storied sports history.

Bringing his sharp business acumen and warm hospitality to Georgia, Michael became a beloved fixture of the local business community. For 20 years, he was the proud owner of The Olde Inn in Cordele, Georgia, where he created a welcoming space for friends and neighbors to gather.

Always an entrepreneur at heart, Michael was also the original owner of The Sandbar, leaving an indelible mark on the local social and culinary landscape.

On May 26, 2026, Michael peacefully transitioned at his home in Cobb, Georgia, surrounded by the comfort of the life he so beautifully built.

Michael's legacy of love, strength, and vibrant spirit will forever be carried in the hearts of his family, his devoted wife, Pam Clark of Cobb, Georgia; his son, Josh Clark of Jacksonville, Florida; his stepchildren, Mary Abella and Anthony Abella, both of Jacksonville, Florida; a host of relatives and dear friends.
