Master Anthony Devon Anderson of Jonesboro, Georgia, died Friday, July 4, 2025, in Rockdale County, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.
Anthony Devon Anderson, born December 23, 2015, in St. Petersburg, Florida, was the beloved son of Anthony Ray Anderson and Delores Davis Anderson. He was a vibrant young student at Lee Street Elementary who touched the lives of many around him. On Friday, July 4, 2025, God called Anthony home, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and friends.
Anthony will be remembered as a joyful child, full of energy and curiosity. He had a passion for playing football, where he showcased his vibrant spirit on the field. Anthony also had a creative side, enjoying drawing and playing with his cars, activities that brought him immense joy and allowed his imagination to flourish.
Anthony was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Queen Hodges; his grandmother, Annie Ruth McIntee; his sister, Dezire Anderson, his grandfather, Author James McIntee and his grandfather, Wilbert Davis, Sr.
His presence will be dearly missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Anthony leaves behind cherished memories with his loving family and friends. Those who mourn his loss are his loving father and mother, Anthony Ray Anderson and Delores Davis Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings: Dakara Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Areyonna Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, Amaya Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, Javon Morgan of Atlanta, Georgia, Shalynda Jeter of St. Petersburg, Florida, Artisha (Ballie) Coleman of St. Petersburg, Florida, Tangela Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ashley Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ebony Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ciara Bailey of St. Petersburg, Florida, Mark Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Lemora Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida; his aunts: Tammy (Bill) Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ranee Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Lawanda (Dell) Miley Middlebrook of St. Petersburg, Florida, Renada (Darnell) Woodham of Lilly, Georgia, Monica (Tyrone) Davis of Lilly, Georgia, Lola (Kinterryia) McIntee of Atlanta, Georgia, and Sandra Chives of Vienna, Georgia; his uncles, Eugene Carter of St. Petersburg, Florida, Artavious McIntee of Albany, Georgia, Wilbert Davis of Lilly, Georgia, and Willie James (Jevanka) Johnson; his special cousins, who he spent a lot of time with: Anastasia Felton and Antoria Waters; a host of cousins, relatives and sorrowing friends.
