Mrs. Mary Frances Jones Robinson of 207 Suwannee Street, Vienna, Georgia died Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Bethel Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.

Mary Frances Robinson, affectionally known as    "Lil Ma" was born May 18, 1940. She was welcomed to this world by her loving parents, the late Helen Jones Murray and Willie Frank Jones. Her loving stepfather,  Eddie Murray, assisted with raising her. Mary Frances received her education from Dooly County Public School System. She enjoyed dancing and spending quality time with family and friends. Mary Frances also enjoyed   cooking a delicious pot of collard greens, playing bingo, and socializing with friends at the American Legion.

Growing up in Vienna, Georgia, Mary Frances embraced the spiritual morals of her family when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and united with the Bethel Baptist Church. At Bethel she served as a choir member and was also a 50 Year Plus member. For many years she was employed by Middle Georgia EMC in Vienna. She also worked for an extended period at Days Inn.

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, Mary Frances Robinson peacefully passed away in her home. She will forever be remembered and missed for her sense of humor and genuine concern for others. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; Helen Jones Murray and Willie Frank Jones; stepfather, Eddie "Buddy" Murray; a devoted son, Frankie Lee Robinson; loving daughters, Tommie Jean Lawson and Alfreda Robinson; and a very special friend C.B. Lane.

Memories of her life are left to her loving and devoted children, Katherine (Harold) Chaney of Marietta, Georgia, Kelvin (Patricia) Robinson of Cordele, Georgia, Timothy (Joann) Robinson of Vienna, Georgia, and Latanga (Jerry) Neal of Warner Robins, Georgia; her loving brother, Willie Frank Jones, Jr. of California; her son-in-law, Sammy Lawson; her daughter-in-law, Nazaree Robinson; a devoted granddaughter, Kanisha Harris of Warner   Robins, Georgia; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends to include her special friends, Ferris Laidler and Shelia Green of Vienna, Georgia, and Valerie Outlaw of Cordele, Georgia; and her supportive caregiver, Brenda Swartzentruber.
