Mrs. Martha Lee Fish Cutts of 272 Fish Road, Desoto, Georgia died Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.
The graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Cobb, Georgia. Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
On February 6, 1935 our beloved Martha Lee Fish Cutts was welcomed to this world. She was born to the late Eugene and Para Lee Fish of Sumter County, Georgia.
Through love and guidance she received her education from the Sumter County School System.
Early in life she accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as the Savior of her life. She served Him and the people of God willingly at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
A valued and dedicated employee of the Sumter County School System, she worked for many years until her retirement.
On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, she transitioned from this life to life everlasting. Her husband, Willie Green Cutts and her siblings, John Fish, Mattie Lee Fish, Ezekiel Fish, Della Mae Fish, Annie Bell Peacock, Irene Daffin Rogers, Maggie Lee Council, and Lula Mae Carter, each preceded her in death.
Many wonderful memories of her life will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted sons, John Nathan (Erma) Fish of Americus, Georgia and Dexter Jerome (LaToya) Cutts of Albany, Georgia; her loving grandchildren, Dequirria (Courtney) Perry, Tonyka (Jonita) McKinney, Precious Cutts (Westley) Spears, Durante Cutts, Dominick Cutts, Dakarai Cutts, Adrian Watts, and Jabarri Fish; 15 great grandchildren; a loving sister, Mary Jane Hall of Cordele, Georgia; a devoted niece, Carolyn Cheatham (Rick) Hamilton; a devoted niece and caretaker, Vivian (Oscar) Davis; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; her nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include her devoted friends, Elizabeth Styles Waters, Janie Ruth Billings, and Baslean Robinson.
