Mrs. Mae Lois Turner Green of 744 Ben Street, Vienna, Georgia died Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Dooly County Middle School Gymnasium in Pinehurst, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Byromville, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

A beautiful baby was born to the late J. C. Turner and the late Seabright Seay of Dooly County, Georgia on May 22, 1940. They named their blessing Mae Lois.

She was educated in the public school system of Dooly County.

Early in her in life she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and united with the Mount Olive Baptist Church.  A faithful and dedicated usher, she loved the Lord and served in whatever capacity she was needed.

For 20 years she was a loyal employee of Easter Seals.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be remembered for her love of family.  She will also be remembered for her love of dancing and her red Ford Focus.  As a family, will always remember one of her favorite sayings, "Just as sho' as a bean is green!"

A loving wife, she shared many wonderful years with her beloved husband, Ollie Lee Green.  He, along with their children, Elois Anderson, Tommy Green, and Yolanda Anderson, each precede her in death.  She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Rosie Mae Sales, Johnnie McClendon, Catherine Turner, A. C. Turner, and Carrie Lou Turner.

On  Monday, August 1, 2022, she was set free from the cares of this life.  Precious memories are left to her loving and devoted children, Eddie Green (Karen), Mary Green (Tyrone), Betty Green (Ricardo), Johnny Green (Sameka) and Rosie Lee Green all of Vienna, Georgia; her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Green of Vienna, Georgia; 21 loving grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; her loving sisters, Mable  Cannon of Vienna, Georgia, Juliette Hightower (Bee) of Orlando,  Florida, Verdine Turner of Vienna, Georgia, Mary Turner of Dooling, Georgia, Lillie Mae Turner of Byromville, Georgia, Betty Merrell (Stanley) and Mary Palmer both of Vienna, Georgia; her caring brothers, Calvin Turner (Sarah) of Montezuma, Georgia and R. C. Turner of Dooling, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives  and many sorrowing friends, to include Bonnie Bullard,   Nannie Lee Burke, and Willene Jones.
