Miss Lula Mae Jones of 268 Carey Street, Unadilla Georgia died Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Camp Creek Baptist Church in Unadilla, Georgia. The burial will follow at Hardshell Cemetery in Pinehurst, Georgia.

Our beloved Lula Mae Jones was born November 29, 1939 in Dooly County, Georgia.  She was born to the loving parentage of the Mr. Damon Jones and Mrs. Willie Mae Jones.

Miss Lula Mae received her education from the Dooly County Public schools.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, she knew the importance and the power of prayer.  She was a member of the Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Unadilla, Georgia.

On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, she peacefully traded the cares of this life for an eternal rest.  She transitioned at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.

She leaves cherished memories to her loving and caring sisters, Mrs. Betty Jean James and Mrs. Geneva West both of Unadilla, Georgia, Mrs. Edna Ruth Lawson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Mary Etta Paul of New Jersey; a cherished goddaughter, Mrs. Lynette (Eric) Lundy of Vienna, Georgia; a devoted cousin, Deacon Harry James (Mary Ann) Carter of Vienna, Georgia; a devoted sister-in-law, Mrs. Lillian Billingslea of Unadilla, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
