Mrs. Louise Johnson Hill of 1411 Flint Drive, Cordele, Georgia, died Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Cordele Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 4:30 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Warwick, Georgia.
Louise Johnson Hill, born on May 29, 1943, in Ashburn, Georgia, was a cherished member of the community. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy D. Johnson and Clara Burgess Johnson. Louise received her education in the Turner County School System and attended Eureka High School.
Louise was a devoted member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she found joy and comfort in her faith. She had a profound love for fishing and took great pleasure in cooking for her family, creating warm and lasting memories. Her dedication to her church community was a significant aspect of her life, bringing her much happiness.
Louise Johnson Hill transitioned peacefully on September 22, 2025. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert James Hill, her parents, and her children, Kenny Hill, Robert Hill, and Peter James Hill. Her siblings, Annie Jean Mayes, Lareen Johnson Larmar, Samuel Johnson, Jimmy Lee Johnson, and Lee Ollie Johnson, also preceded her.
She is survived by her children, Pastor Michael Hill (Co-Pastor Peggy) of Ashburn, Georgia and Lorraine Hill Harmon (Ronnie) of Cordele, Georgia; her grandchildren: Tyler Herman, Chiquita Hill, Kentavious Hill, Little Michael Hill, Christopher Hill, Briana Hill, Antonie Hill, Jonqurious Green, Krissa Hill, Jayla Hill, Zyquavion Dorsey, and Terrence; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae Bell Menuel of Cordele, Georgia; her brothers, Lonnie Johnson and Columbus Johnson of Cordele, Georgia, and Herman Neely of Ashburn, Georgia; her nieces and nephews: Carolyn (Eddie) Lavant, Tammie (Stacy) Harvey, John Anthony (Janice) Menuel, Bobby (Anita) Johnson, Jermaiah Hill, Travious L. Johnson, Antoinette Johnson, Daylon Collins, Dayus Shacon Collins, Carolyn Smith, Vivian Lamar, and Lula Mae Burgess; six sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
