Little Kyro Amir Hughes of 2197 South 10th Street, Cordele, Georgia, died Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the Gibb Chapel Cemetery, Penia Community, Cordele, Georgia.

Once upon a time, in the charming land of Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia, a little prince named Kyro Amir Hughes graced the world with his presence on a crisp December day in 2025. Born to the loving embrace of his parents, Keyaundre Cheese and Ja'Nia L. Hughes, Kyro's arrival brought great joy to all who knew him.

Though his journey was brief, lasting only four precious months, Kyro's presence was like a serene melody that touched the hearts of everyone around him. His laughter was a gentle, his gaze a beacon of hope, and his presence a testament to the beauty of life.

Kyro Amir Hughes may have departed this world on Sunday, March 29, 2026, but his spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends. As we remember this little prince, let us celebrate the joy he brought and the love he inspired.

Though Kyro's story was short, it is one that will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved him. He joins his grandparents, Irene Tamika Smith, and Charles & Bertha Hughes, and his uncle, John Smith, in a realm where love knows no end.

Kyro was a cherished treasure to his family, surrounded by an abundance of love. In addition to his adoring parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Tywana Cheese and Lewis Putman of Cordele, Georgia; his great-grandmother, Ruby Lucas of Cordele, Georgia;  his aunts, great aunts, uncles, and great uncles, Takala Brown, Latonya Dunnun (Terry) of Tifton, Georgia, Melissa A. Smith of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jonathan Smith (Lacressa) of Port Richie, Florida, Ricky Smith and Selena West both of Cordele, Georgia, Walter Cheese (Lashonda) of Perry, Georgia, Jalin Jackson of Cordele, Georgia, Brandon Clark (Priana) and Wendy Wilson of Tifton, Georgia, Lachantay Smith, Edward & Ethell Mumphery, and Gail Sims of Cordele, Georgia; his cousins, Jalisea Johnson and JaCambrian Smith of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and a host of other relatives.
