Ms. Linda Gail Green of 412 West 22nd Avenue, Cordele, Georgia died Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Pruitt Health in Ashburn, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Ms. Linda Gail Green was born March 9, 1960 in  Cordele, Georgia.  She was born to Mr. Eddie Lee Green and Mrs. Iola W. Anderson.  Gail accepted Christ as Lord of her life and united with the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church at an early age.  She served as an usher for many years.

Linda loved to party and was even a DJ who went by the name of "Sweet Pea".  She loved music, her grandchildren and her family. You could not walk around her with your pants down because she would say, "pull them pants up."  She loved to Trim around with her friends and have a good time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Iola W. Anderson and Mr. Eddie Lee Green and her siblings, Mr. Bobby Anderson, Sr., Mrs. Minnie Sanders, Mr. Jeffrey Green, Mr. Earl Green, Ms. Jennifer Green, and Mr. Ricky Smith.

She leaves cherished memories to her loving and devoted children, Jasmine Green and Jala Green of Cordele, Georgia; her adored grandchildren, Charmarie Aiden Green, Rileigh Green, Janai Jones and Demi Green all of Cordele, Georgia; her loving sisters, Mrs. Mary Henderson, Mrs. Betty Peterson, Ms. Shirley Faye Green, Ms. Shelley Green, Ms. Mary J. Green, and Ms. Lakesha Newson; her beloved brothers, Mr. Kermit (Lillian) Green, Mr. Eddie    Anthony (Carolyn) Green, Mr. Steven (Nikki) Green, Mr. Benjamin Green, Mr. Ricky Anderson, Mr. Eddie Green, Jr., Mr. Zobbie Smith, Mr. Eddie Steve (Melinda) Williams, Mr. Demetris Newson, Mr. Zelmar Lucas, Mr. Tyrone Lucas, and Mr. Desmond Bridges; her aunts and uncles, Mrs. Francis Chambliss, Mrs. Wilma (Eddie) Lewis, Mrs. Eula Mae (Michael) Smith, Ms. Tammy Redding, Mrs. Varonda (Nathaniel) Roddy, Mr. Johnny Redding, Mrs. Lynn (Ronnie) Starks all of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Rosetta Morgan, Mr. Benjamin Morgan, and Ms. Kimberly Morgan all of Macon, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
