Ms. Lakiesha Ford of 176 Williams Lake Road, Cordele, Georgia, died Monday, November 10, 2025, at her residence.

The graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Warwick, Georgia.

Ms. Lakiesha Ford, born on November 1, 1983, in Crisp County, Georgia, was a cherished daughter of Deacon George Ford, Sr., and Mrs. Nadine Williams Ford. She spent her formative years in the vibrant community of Crisp  County and was educated in the local public school system. Demonstrating her dedication to personal growth and learning, Lakiesha earned her GED from South Georgia Tech in June 2011.

Lakiesha's spiritual journey began at an early age when she joined Mildale Baptist Church as a young child. Her faith continued to be a guiding light throughout her life as she later attended the Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church.

Lakiesha was known for her zest for life. She loved to travel, explore new places, and create unforgettable memories with her family. Dancing and shopping were among her favorite pastimes, allowing her to express her vibrant personality and joy for life.

Lakiesha passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Though Lakiesha's parents preceded her in death, she leaves behind a devoted fiancé, Mr. Charles Bradley of Cordele, Georgia; her loving sisters: Mrs. Brenda Faye Parks (Christian) of Branson, Missouri, Mrs. Marenda Woodall (John), and Mrs. Kristee Tukes (Kea), both of Cordele, Georgia; her caring brothers, Mr. George Ford (Debra), Mr. Wayne Ford (Lonnie) of Ashburn, Georgia, Reverend William G. Ford of Perry, Georgia, Mr. Isaac Ford (Connie) of Brea, California, Mr. Timothy Ford of Albany, Georgia, Mr. Joseph Ford (Tanya), Mr. Nathan Ford, Mr. Keith Ford (Amanda), all of Cordele, Georgia, and Mr. Christopher Ford (Latasha) of Valdosta, Georgia, cherish her memory; her aunts and uncles, Mrs. Mary Pounds, Ms. Rosa Ford, Mrs. Mary Nance, Mr. David Williams (Dorothy), Mr. Willie James Johnson, all of Cordele, Georgia, Mrs. Margaret Edwards of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mrs. Ethel Adkins of Arabi, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
