Mr. Kelcey Lujohn Colson of Eustis, Florida died Sunday, August 7, 2022.

The graveside funeral service will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Kelcey LuJohn Colson was born October 5, 1974 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.  He was born to Bennie L. Colson and Carolyn Barner Colson.

Known to everyone as "John," he was educated in the public schools of Crisp County.

John will always be remembered as a fun-loving individual who enjoyed being around family and friends.  He had an infectious smile that would light up a room.

After moving to Eustis, Florida, he worshiped at the Community  Fellowship Church.

On Sunday, August 7, 2022 John transitioned from this life.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucious & Seabell Barner and Johnnie Lee & Laura Colson.

Many wonderful memories are left to his loving and devoted family:  his parents, Bennie L. Colson and Carolyn B. Colson; his companion, Nikki Goodman; his children, Kelcey L. Colson, Jr., Ja'Kesia Colson Hale (Tommy), and Shameerah Colson all of Hope, Arkansas, Chancelor Greene of Cordele, Georgia, and Nikon Colson of Eustis, Florida; his stepchildren, Nikko Brown and Nijah Brown both of Eustis, Florida; his granddaughter, Bryce Hale of Hope, Arkansas; his brothers Erskine Colson of Edison, New Jersey, Vidal Colson (Kimberly) of Cordele, Georgia, and Kelby Colson, Sr. (Shavone) of Stockbridge, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Pearlie Barner of Cordele, Georgia, Gracie Jones of Perry, Georgia, Dorothy Alston of Hampton, Georgia, Baserine C. Grace of Perry, Georgia, Martha Ruffin of Hampton, Georgia, Robert Dennis of Akron, Ohio, Eddie Dennis of Jacksonville, Florida, Willie L. Colson of Atlanta, Georgia, and David Colson of Cleveland, Ohio; a host of nieces and nephews; many cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include his special friends, Alvin Harris, Jr. and Castonia Thomas.
