Mr. Kapers Demonde Smith of 409 East Woodward Street, Vienna, Georgia, died Friday, June26, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice in Macon, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your mask.

Kapers Demonde Smith was born on November 11, 1979, in Dooly County, Georgia. He was the beloved son of Marcus Smith and Debra Brown. Kapers grew up in a family that valued hard work and community, principles he carried with him throughout his life.

Kapers attended Bethel Baptist Church during his formative years, where he was guided by the leadership of Reverend Moses Lee. His upbringing in this nurturing environment instilled in him strong values and a sense of community. He graduated from Dooly County High School in 1998, a proud moment for both him and his family.

Known for his diligence, Kapers was a hardworking man who deeply believed in taking care of his children. His outspoken nature and passion for sports were well-known among those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Kapers' dedication to his family and his interests left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Kapers Demonde Smith passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. His legacy of resilience, love and unwavering dedication will forever be cherished. He will be missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to his children, Katelyn Smith of Perry, Georgia, and Cahden Smith of Unadilla, Georgia; his parents, Debra Brown of Vienna, Georgia and Marcus Smith of Seattle, Washington; his sisters, Markisha Brown and Alisha Brown, both of Vienna, Georgia; his brother, Travis Burnam (Shaneika) of Vienna, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Debbie Young (Dairy) of Vienna, Georgia, Velma Daniels (David) of Baltimore, Maryland, Margaret Rembert (Timothy) of Vienna, Georgia, Faye Smith of Vienna, Georgia, Donald Brown (Bevelyn) of Cordele, Georgia, Michael Brown (Nancy) of Atlanta, Georgia, Nelvis Smith of Vienna, Georgia, Jerome Smith of Florida, Stanford Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, and Fant Walker of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including special friends Anitra Austin (his bestie), Courtney Walker, Joey Young, Travis Mathis, Wayne Thomas, and Larry Turner.
